The company’s CEO Manu Kumar Jain shared information on twitter that Xiaomi sold more than 1 million units of the Redmi Note 8 series in India in just a month. To recall, the company unveiled the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro models on October 16 in the Indian market, with sales kicking off on October 21.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It comes with a Helio G90T processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. A 64MP camera sits on the back of the phone along with an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, audio jack, NFC, and a 4500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charge.
