Samsung Bixby to stop working on Galaxy devices that still run Android Oreo or Nougat. As per the report users from January 1, 2020 will lose access to the voice assistant.
According to the SamMobile , Samsung is about to end the support of the voice assistant on older versions of Android, in this case, Android 8 Oreo and 7 Nougat.
If you look at the Bixby history, it was born in 2017 on the Galaxy S8 and S8+ and has since been available on most of Samsung’s recent smartphones. The next version of Samsung voice assistant i.e Bixby 2.0 has been introduced with the Galaxy Note 9 under Android 9.0 Pie. With a new interface, better responsiveness and many additional features.
