Date: 04 February 2019
There is a piece of news coming out of The Europian Union's Intellectual Property Office, the news is Oppo has Filed a new trademark for the name "Find Z". So from the market rumours and expert guesses, we can come to the conclusion that the successor of the Oppo Find X will be named Oppo Find Z.
According to some websites the Oppo Find Z will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset, Putting this chipset in the smartphone also means that the phone will have a Qualcomm's X50 5G modem, so if it happens the phone will be the first 5G phone from Oppo.
it's widely expected the Find Z to incorporate Oppo's new 10x camera and bigger under-display fingerprint scanner. The 10x camera combines Oppo's 5x periscope-style camera along with an ultra-wide angle secondary camera to achieve the total 10 times magnification figure. The new under-display fingerprint scanner has a larger surface area and can recognize up to 2 fingerprints simultaneously.
The Phone is widely expected to come with Oppo's new 10x camera and a much bigger in display fingerprint sensor. In the 10x Camera it combines Oppo's 5x periscope-style camera with a wide-angle camera to get a 10xx magnification. and the bigger under screen fingerprint sensor has a larger surface camera so it can recognise up to 2 fingerprints at a time. The phone is also expected to have three cameras at the back, the third camera will be a 3D TOF sensor.
It's unlikely that Oppo will have finished the Find Z in time for the Mobile World Congress, which kicks off at the end of this month. It's more likely we'll see a special event dedicated to the Find Z a bit later on.
We can not expect oppo to launch the phone at the end of the month at Mobile World Congress, which is gonna to be held at the end of the month, but we may see a teaser of the smartphone at the event.
