The Android 9.0 Pie has been integrated successful and has settled into the OnePlus phones from 5 to the 6T. And now it is finally time to make well needed fixtures. Unsurprisingly, the first improvements are to be introduced to the Open Beta participants. This are the changes made to the OxygeOS Open Beta 26 for the OnePlus 5 and 5T and the Open Beta 12 for the OnePlus 6 and 6T.

The changelogs for the different versions of the software are practically the same - the OnePlus 5/5T would get optimizations for the screenshots, support for quick replies in landscape mode (for example, when watching videos or playing games) and additional Gaming mode enhancements.

The OnePlus 6/6T Open Beta users would just as well get the OnePlus Laboratory along with the screenshot optimization, Game mode improvements and the quick reply function. And it goes a step further by supporting a world clock with weather information is also part of the release.

You can expect these features to hit the already stable build in a future update.
