The Apple App Store's developers payout exceeds $120B for total running time

Since its initial launch in 2008, Apple's App Store has done quite well, generating more than $120B (Apple's 30% cut of revenues aside) in developer earnings which, by extension, means they are also doing well.

The online store is growing faster than ever, generating more than $30B in developer earnings in the time space of 12 months alone.

The revenue figures for developers' earnings include downloads, in-app purchases and subscriptions, which means some developers could be earning even more than this from in-app ads.
