Samsung is rolling out a software update to its Galaxy J6+, Galaxy J4+, Galaxy J2 Pro. This update includes the Android November 2018 security patch on these smartphones.
The firmware version for the Galaxy J6+ is ‘J610FNXXU1ARK4’, and it is currently being rolled out in Germany. The firmware version for the Galaxy J4+ is ‘J415FNXXU1ARK5’, and it is being rolled out in Ukraine. Lastly, firmware version ‘J250GDXU3ARK2’ is being rolled out to the Galaxy J2 Pro.
The highlight of the update is the rolling out of the November 2018 security patch. This patch fixes over 10 critical vulnerabilities in the Android OS, and nine Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.
